“ How long does the 100LE card last you?” this question we’ve heard over and over during the last month after the Company's internet failed due to “maintenance issues”. We all immediately switched to mobile hotspots and then it dawned on us, which operator provides the best value?
 
As usual, we gathered four victims, I mean volunteers each with a different mobile operator.  We asked each of them to charge for 100LE and sat quietly and observed what they got.

When we first started the exercise we found it very confusing, the naming of each company in addition to not all having a basic 100LE package got us initially confused, especially since the value was interchangeable between minutes, SMS, and MBS (that's not even taking into account what you're using the megabytes for).

Some brief information about the mobile network operators:
 
Orange: This was the first operator in Egypt when it was launched in 1998 as “Mobinil”, and was changed to Orange in 2016.
 
Vodafone: It is the second operator to enter the Egyptian market in 1998 and was launched with the brand name “Click”.
 
Etisalat: Was established in 2007 directly by the Etisalat parent company
 
WE: Is the mobile arm of the national landline telecom operator and was launched in 2017 and is the only Egyptian owned business.

You’re not bound by a specific number of vacation days as in the case of a full-time employee. As a freelancer, you can take as many days as you want, whenever you want.&nbsp;<h2>3- No Fixed Working Hours:</h2>&nbsp;&nbsp;As a freelancer, an essential skill is time management. This is because you are not required to stick to a strict 8-hour workday as you would in full-time employment; you can work at any time you prefer. You know what you need to do, and you set your own deadlines, so you get to finish your tasks whenever you please.&nbsp;<h2>4-Money:&nbsp;</h2>&nbsp;Unlike full-time jobs, you don’t have a fixed monthly salary, you get paid per project, and as such, you could always work on more than one project at a time, so your income might even be double that of any full-time fixed salary, depending on your agreement with your client.&nbsp;<h2>Disadvantages of Free-Lancing:</h2>&nbsp;<h3>1- No Stable Income:</h3>&nbsp;&nbsp;Although the money you earn as a freelancer might be better than a monthly salary, there is one catch – it’s not stable. It really depends on what a client needs at any particular time. There could be months where you are working non-stop and earning a significant amount of money, and others with no projects coming your way and thus, no income and you’ll have to live off your savings.&nbsp;<h3>2- No Benefits:</h3>&nbsp;&nbsp;Full-time jobs tend to offer employees various benefits, such as medical insurance and paid vacation days.
